The Role
We’re looking for a hands-on and proactive finance professional to join our small but highly impactful finance team in Stockholm. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a scale-up environment, enjoys wearing multiple hats, and has a strong sense of ownership over accounting and financial operations. You will be responsible for the end-to-end accounting and financial control of our Swedish entities and coordinate financial processes across our global subsidiaries.
You’ll be the go-to person for operational finance, working closely with the Head of Finance, and interacting cross-functionally with departments and external accountants across countries.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage bookkeeping and monthly closing
- Lead payroll coordination and execution
- Prepare local VAT, tax returns, and ensure compliance with accounting standards (K3)
- Own audit processes and liaise with external auditors
- Collaborate with external accounting firms in other jurisdictions (UK, USA, DE, ES, NL, IT) to ensure compliance and accuracy
- Maintain and reconcile team and company credit cards and manage expense reporting
- Set up and refine cost control processes in collaboration with department heads
- Responsible for NetSuite bookkeeping and bank reconciliations
- Partner with the Head of Finance to improve and drive automation of financial procedures and reporting tools
- Contribute to financial analysis and insights, enabling better decision-making across the group

- Passionate about problem-solving and continuous improvement
- Strong communication skills
Requirements
- Solid understanding of Swedish GAAP / K3
- Proficient in Google Sheets or Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.)
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or similar
- Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP (nice to have)
